Family Therapy

Support for parents and teens, adult families, and chosen families to heal, grow, and strengthen their relationships

Family therapy offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for families to come together, feel heard, and work toward greater connection. It recognizes that challenges often arise within relationships—not because anyone is “the problem,” but because systems become strained over time. Family therapy can help families heal ruptures, strengthen bonds, and create more supportive and respectful ways of relating.

    • Family Systems Theory
Focuses on understanding patterns, roles, and interactions within the family system, recognizing that change in one part of the family impacts the whole.

    • Structural Family Therapy
Examines family structure, boundaries, and hierarchies to help create healthier, more supportive ways of relating.

    • Bowenian (Intergenerational) Family Therapy
Explores how family history, emotional patterns, and generational dynamics influence current relationships and responses.

    • Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
Centers on attachment needs and emotional bonds, helping family members express emotions safely and strengthen connection.

    • Narrative Therapy
Helps families externalize problems and reshape unhelpful stories about themselves or one another, emphasizing strengths and shared values.

    • Cognitive-Behavioral Family Therapy (CBFT)
Addresses how thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors influence family interactions, supporting practical skill-building and problem-solving.

    • Trauma-Informed & Attachment-Based Approaches
Recognize the impact of trauma and stress on family systems, prioritizing safety, trust, and emotional regulation.
